A long and narrow project designed to create two distinct spaces without taking up too much room. A lounge area and a dining area in the same bright room. The cathedral ceiling creates a sense of grandeur despite the 8′ depth!
Work Completed:
- Removal of the existing wooden deck
- Construction of an insulated R32 floor on screw piles (load calculation performed by an engineer)
- Custom-built 3-season sunroom (window size, window and door layout, etc.)
- Sliding windows with screens, all double-glazed with Argon, LowE, and Energy Star certified
- 24″ aluminum panel half-walls
- 6″ insulated roof with exterior shingle finish and interior aluminum finish
- Wood-clad beam
- Electrical installation
- Vinyl floor covering
- Aluminum skirting
- Aluminum balcony and steps
