Four-season extension that brings plenty of natural light into the home.
This project was completed on the South Shore of Montreal in Brossard. The Deschamps family wanted to add a dining room and a small relaxation area.
Work completed:
- Insulated floor on screw piles
- Installation of a custom 14′ x 20′ four-season solarium
- A solid wall with transoms was installed on the left wall to
- Roof modification to accommodate the four-season solarium
- Cathedral ceiling with gypsum finishing inside
- Wood flooring
- Wooden beam on the ceiling
- Electrical work and heating
- Removal of the existing patio door and replacement with a full-opening window, allowing two passages to the solarium
- Vinyl skirt and composite deck
